本日紹介する食材は「蓮根」でございます！

蓮根は生活習慣病の予防・改善に役立つ、食物繊維がたっぷり。 ■免疫機能を高める、ビタミンＣも豊富です。 ■抗酸化作用が期待できる、ポリフェノールの一種タンニンも。 食塩や塩分を含む加工品、食材そのものに含まれるナトリウムの排出を促す、カリウムも含まれます。

蓮根の旬は秋から冬にかけてが最盛期！ 出荷時期は10月〜 2月終わり頃の2月はまるまると太ったレンコンになってくるそう！ 3月には来シーズンの種植えをします。 そして10月からはれんこんの旬の時期となるわけです。

まさに今が旬✨
