Construction of the Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's oldest malt distillery, began in 1923. In 1984, more than 60 years after the distillery began making whiskey there, Yamazaki single malt whiskey was born, made entirely from malt distillate from the Yamazaki distillery.
A wide variety of sake matured in the four seasons of Japan. The blend of these sake is characterized by a strong yet delicate flavor and a rich, sweet aroma."
