Good evening, Mr. President.
This is the Sasaginza branch of Ginza Shabu-Tsukko.
Today we will introduce the seasonal vegetable "Manganji Togarashi" (red pepper).
Manganji peppers are a Kyoto vegetable that originated in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture. Locally, it is also called "Manganji" or "Manganji sweet pepper.
Although it is a member of the peppers, it is not spicy, but sweet and hearty. The thick pulp is soft and the seeds are few, making it easy to eat 😀.
Nutrients in Manganji Togarashi
It has nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, β-carotene, and dietary fiber, and is expected to be effective in preventing arteriosclerosis and summer colds. In addition, it can be expected to have a skin beautifying effect, so it is also good for taking care of skin damaged by the strong summer sun 🤔.
Served at dinner time at Shabu Shabu Yasai.
(There is a case that it cannot be served depending on the availability.)
Let's eat well and get through the summer 🍺.
