The miraculous lemon "Hoshoju" was born on Osakishita Island (Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture), an island in the Seto Inland Sea, after 25 years of development and 25 years of persistence in using no agricultural chemicals.
The whole lemon, even the peel, can be eaten whole because no pesticides are used during the growing period.
